So I hopped into this group ride...

Posted on: April 14, 2008
The Astana team rolled out of the Embassy Suites this morning for their training ride and I was there sliding into the back of this pack with some of the best in the world. At the first stoplight I saw Chris Horner and called him out, "Yo Horner". He was totally cool and rode with me almost to Tramway. Once he and I were laughing together I figured Bruyneel and Galopin wouldn't give me the boot out of his teams ride. It was media day with a caravan of 10 or so cars with camera lenses sticking out of them. 2007 Nationals Bike

I just raced at the USA Triathlon National Championships this past weekend (you may or may not know-- I have been struggling with a hamstring "niggly" and have not run these past 3 weeks so going into this race- I think I was a bit nervous....BUT comforted by the confidence that I had done the work I needed to do for this race, I was fit and strong and lean and ready to tear it up!)....

Life's Priorities: Training, Riding & Giving Back

Posted on: June 26, 2007

...When I did make the decision to tackle a full-ironman tri, I also realized that I needed to do two things: to get more serious about my training as well as get myself a proper bicycle. During the last half-ironman, my legs felt flat towards the middle of the run. While this points to a shortcoming in my training plan, I also knew it was due in part to an inadequate bike setup.

Posted on: June 18, 2007

WildFlower Triathlon Three days after the St. Anthony's Triathlon, I was back on the plane for the long journey across the states to California to race Wildflower on Lake San Antonio. So far all of my races have been hot and humid- I was getting used to that kind of weather...
