Mas O Menos, Terlingua, TX

Posted on: March 5, 2008
The first event on the National Endurance calendar is one for the books. One of my racing history's staples has always been this classic event in far, far, far West Texas. 300 miles from the nearest commercial airport, no matter how you choose to approach Lajitas/Terlingua, Texas, its going to involve vast distances and a lot of sitting.

Never Underestimate The Power Of An Elf

Posted on: December 14, 2007
Just in time for the holidays & especially for all you aspiring cross riders out there...

Finally: A pictorial of the proper technique for passing an ambitious, young cross racer when you're a fat, disgruntled elf.

STEP 1: Identify the young jackass (Sam Dodge in this case)
STEP 2: Pick your strategic location.
STEP 3: Make contact when he's already struggling and give a gentle shove.
STEP 4: Use elf agility and quickness to get clear and stay upright.
STEP 5: Run past and laugh.

Check out the photo album for a pictorial step by step. Click the images to enlarge.

Happy Holidays from Cannondale's head marketing elf, Scott Struve.

One look at double D and you're immediately smiling. You can't help it. One smile deserves another and this guy seems to always have a grin on his face. You would too if you were him. After all, he's got one of the best gigs out there...
